Question: When I try to crawl my site I see the following error message: “The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.” What does it mean, and how can I fix it?
Answer: This error message will appear if you’re running a version 4 (or older) Inspyder product on a secure (https) website that no longer supports SSLv3. Many websites are now disabling SSLv3 in favor of TLS because it’s more secure (and PCI compliant). To fix this error, please upgrade to version 5. All version 5 Inspyder products support TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2.
