Question: When I run Backlink Monitor it shows a bunch of links labeled “Broken Tier/Not Shortest Path” which when checked by hand are actually all active and alive links. What’s wrong?
Answer: This backlink status can mean one of two things. The link is either not the most direct route back to your website (“Not Shortest Path”), or the link chain never actually gets back to your website (“Broken Tier”).
