How-To: Configure Rank Reporter to Monitor Google Caffeine Search Rank

A quick guide to adding Google Caffeine support to Rank Reporter.

Google recently announced a major internal change to its search engine technology. The update, code named "Google caffeine" is now available as a public beta. To find out how your website ranks with their new search engine technology, you can configure Rank Reporter in 3 easy steps!

Step 1: Open the Search Engine Editor

Run Rank Reporter and select "Settings | Search Engine Editor" from the main menu bar.

Step 2: Load and Copy the Current Google Template

Caffeine returns the results in the same format as the main Google search engine, so starting with the current Google template is a good start. Select "Google" from the list of Existing Templates, and then click the "Copy" button.
