Question: Why isn’t Sitemap Creator detecting my website’s images? When I crawl my website the “Image Info” tab is always empty.
Answer: By default Sitemap Creator is set up to only extract images that have both the “alt” and “title” attributes in the “img” tag that embeds the image. If Sitemap Creator isn’t detecting your images you probably are missing one (or both) of these tags.
You can adjust which images Sitemap Creator detects on the “Images” tab in “Advanced Project Settings” (click the ‘Wrench’ button). On this screen it is possible to change which attributes Sitemap Creator requires when searching for images on your website. More details are available in the user manual.
